He then went on to study illustration at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York where he was able to tap into an artistic culture that was ever growing and evolving. I work digitally in Adobe Fresco/Illustrator/Photoshop drawing inspiration from personal interests; music, myths, mysteries, moloch, etc. If I'm happy enough with a piece I'll create some riso or screen prints, always preferable to the phone screen. I've been working as a graphic designer for the Golden State Warriors for over 6 years, tracing basketballs, basketball hoops, basketball backboards, etc. When I first stumbled into MMRHS I remember being amazed by the level of talent, it's rare that a community produces so many incredible artists. My name is Stella Rose Wright, I'm a junior at Monument Mountain regional high school, and I’m 17 years old. I’ve always loved art and drawing. It's been a strong suit of mine ever since i was young. I’ve been involved with dancing, singing, and I play a number of instruments which are other art forms I've been involved with. Before joining monument I went to the Rudolf Steiner School, where a Waldorf curriculum was taught which benefitted my art skills tremendously. My freshman year at monument continued to pursue art with Mr. Webber. At Monument I have continued my journey as a young artist and am currently enrolled to take Drawing and Ceramics next semester. I don’t have plans set for college yet but I do know I will keep being involved with the arts.
